Sandra Bullock

Prom Hairstyle from Sandra BullockLove this hair color and style. It looks so natural, and perfect for the summer if you have darker hair. The highlights around her face look like the sun lightened them to brighten the look. Sandra's complexion is the perfect tone for this color, but even if you have a lighter complexion, you could get away with it.

Her roots look very natural too. Notice there isn't a well defined line were her darker new growth ends and the lighter hair starts? That is a job well done by the stylist! The length is a little long for me, but if you like the length, have thick enough hair, and have the time for styling this length hair, go for it. It is a very beautiful hairstyle and great for an up-do for prom as well!

Penelope Cruz

Prom Hairstyle from Penelope CruzLove the bangs! The flip of the bangs gives this style a romantic feel. The back is not pinned too high up, and it is also not left too low. The back could be pulled up higher, or left a little lower as shown. If you have naturally curly hair, this is the style for you! Just by pinning your curls back in a pretty hairpin would do the trick for an easy do-it-yourself style for prom!

Mandy Moore

Prom Hairstyle from Mandy MooreThis is the ultimate short do! I love the color for one, and the style gives it a young but sophisticated flair. If you hit the tanning booth regularly, this color is also great for a tan complexion. Remember, with short hair you can change the color more often because the ends are the first to get damaged and they are the first to go after a trim. This style is also perfect if you have fine hair and not a lot of volume. So, find the color that fits you best and have fun with this pixie cut!

Brittany Murphy

Prom Hairstyle from Brittany MurphyThese pinned up locks look great. It is another example of a great prom style that is not too tight, but won't feel as if it will fall apart at the end of a crazy night of partying. The nice thing is the top layer of hair that is loosly dropped over the tighly pulled back sides. If you look closer at the picture you'll notice the top hair is draped over the sides slightly to keep the patterned wave of the bangs moving from front to back.
